I got a bow and a 30-06. Looking to get something for hunting hog during small game season. Some one told me you have to use a slug to hunt hog during small game. I have no experience with shotguns. Wanted to know what you all suggest for a shot gun I can hunt hogs and turkey with. What gauge and any suggestions on a make/model that is a good all around gun and not too pricey.
Last year I used a 20ga single shot with slugs. You can use slugs or buck shot. You need to find what you are most comfortable with.
