Pay attention to the article. Scent Lok lost the lawsuit because of the word "eliminating". Sure... that's a stretch, and they were busted...
The simple truth... I own a lot of scent lok. And regardless as to what you'd like to say.... it works. It may not eliminate... but it damned sure makes a difference.
How do I know???
I've hunted for over 20 years. I've been a bowhunter for 12 of those years. (not long compared to some I admit)... but as a bowhunter I've tried every way possible to up my odds. You sit in a stand every day for months and months, and see HUGE deer daily, but can't take a shot because they are just a few yards out of range and you too will try new things. Where I have seen the difference is the amount of animals that come into the field FROM DOWNWIND. You aren't going to see crap unless you hunt the wind, but you'll notice when just wearing regular ole whatever with a lil bit of spray you don't see too many animals coming from behind you. With scent lok I had more animals coming into the kill zone from where the wind was taking my scent...
I've also been in the stand covered in Deep Woods Off and seen/killed decent animals.
It all comes down to how you play the wind and how high up in the tree you are willing to go...
But regardless as to what a judge says, I've seen more deer using scent lok than without using it. And I will continue using it because of what I've seen it do. Now... thermacell... someone should sue them, because they are DEFINATELY not scent free.

Anything helps whether it be real or mentally as long as the human factors are dissipated enough that game is fooled.My mentor hunted in mocks,brown corduroy pants and red/blk plaid jacket and took many North American game animals and the only cover scents he used were apples,leaves and rotted trees!
