I may look like I'm headed into the woods for a 3 day hike, but I can guarantee ya that I ain't gotta go back to the truck for nuttin all day, and if I get stuck out all night, I ain't gonna be huddled under a limb wishin for some supper or a drink or even wonderin if I'm standin in an ant hill or next to one of them long legless poisonous critters.
I always carry a backback with me while hunting out of a stand, there's no way i'm gonna carry all my shart in my pockets, when I get up in the tree I tie it with my bowrope to my stand next to my right hip and leave the main zipper open that way it takes minimal movement and sound to get to what I may need.When its hot I always carry my camo shirt in my backback until I get up in my stand then I change out of my sweaty shirt and put it in a gallon ziplock bag and seal it and put it back in my pack. Nothing really original but things I do that help me.
My freakin' backtrak broke, I need a new one.Other than that all I need are some tasty waves and cool buzz and I'm doin' fine.
all those years in the scouts, didn't they ever teach you to use a compass and map or orienteering? you carry around more electronics than a radio shack.
