I agree with ilth, most guns shoot better than we do, but it's important that the gun fits you properly, like buying clothes if the pants are too long they need to be altered. if you are joe average size your probably o.k. if you got a few grand burning a hole in your pocket check out some good german/swiss optics zwarovski,zeiss, leica. I can't afford them now, but someday will. I splurged for zeiss and leica binocs years ago when I was flush and they are great I'll never have to buy another pair

You better invest in ear protection. They make a gun super loud. You CANNOT shoot one w/o ear protection, even hunting. If you're wanting better accuracy, I would glass bed the barrel before anything else
Also, this is not a knock on you personally, but I betcha that rifle of yours is more accurate than you think it is

oh yea its a tack driver... i can get groups in the size of a dime.. just wanted to calm down the recoil.

i know its easy to put on.. but you need to have to have it sanded down to fit perfect right?
