I've tried the Silicone spray water proofer on my Rocky's, and it doesn't work for crap. Even after 3 coats with drying time in between. It still takes more than a week for the smell to wear off though, so I can't exactly spray em during the season. Maybe between archery and general gun, but that would be it.

Except if ur in an area with them leggless toothy critters. I'd rather be wet than dead. Besides, I always carry a spare pair (or 2) of socks just in case. Amazing how much you can compress in a sealed ziploc baggie.
I tried on some Lacrosse Alpha lites today and they were comfy. Think I'm gonna buy them,around 75.00 Just think the briars will tear them up though.
