There's 5 of us out at our lease and the other 4 all have 4-wheelers and they laughed their butts off when they saw me opening day of rifle season on my bike. They shut up at noon as they were all loading their 4-wheelers into their empty trucks and I rode up with a deer on the trailer. It's happened 3 times so far on deer. I actually had one of the guys asking about where to get a trailer. He didn't want to trade for his 4-wheeler though. Oh well.

I got mine for about $75 off E-Bay. Works pretty good. A buddy back in San Diego got one of those child strollers designed to be pulled behind a bike and modified it. They both work just fine. We used to ride/push the bikes about 5 miles up a blocked-off paved road to hunt and it was nice coming back out! It's a workout riding it on anything other than pavement with a load in the trailer.

Got my GW delivered yesterday! :clap Put it on and tried it out and all I can say is wow! For just the few minutes I had it on it seems like the claims of it being the most comfortable stand out there could be true. The real test will be next week when I try it on my lease for 3-4 hrs at a time. Doesn't seem to weigh any more than my pack either. This is gonna make some long walks in the woods a whole lot easier. Now I'm looking to make a web ladder system I was reading about to climb the tree. The whole set up should weigh about 9 lbs. :rockon

Alright :ahole . I've been messing with it and this is gonna work great. Gonna use the Cranford strap on steps for the 1st 10' and then the strap on Stepps to get to my height. Stepp ladder for the platform. Next time you drag my azz through hell and high water I'll be carrying a lot less weight. :tung

If you have to carry steps why not a stand?
