I just gave one just like it to a friend. They do the same job a higher end GPs will do, just without the bells n whistles

Much better choice than the BackTrack, for a base model GPS

It sould do you good, I was using a old garmin 48 which i purchased in 95 it was goot for boating but for walking in the woods it left a little to be desired, I just got a gift from my kids a garmin dakots 20, i like it much better it has a compass that will tell you direction while standing still , most others , now i can find my tree stand way easy, it also has a back track where while walking in the woods , it will take you back exactly the way you came its a bit pricey but it was a gift so I like it very much....

I spent the money on a Garmin Oregon 450 and i'm very glad I did.. had several cheap ones but the things you can do now with the good ones is awsome. The birdseye feature along with the topo overlay and the wireless sharing makes these great little units
