I use the moutrie I40's, the trigger speed is not the fastest but it takes good pics, my only gripe is the LCD screen goes out about 6 months after you get them. There is a bunch of posts on AT about people having the same problem. If it is over a year old they will not warranty it and I don't want to send mine back warranty or not. But if you don't mind guessing how many pics or what mode it is on then it works great.

ill tell you right now if you dont have the receipt or have sent in the warranty card they WONT fix it. i sent in my warranty card and my d40 didnt work right out of the box. i called them and they said they never received the warranty card and they will not fix it unless i had a receipt. I had bought it online from a friend. he sent it to me and it was messed up new out of the box. I had to call him and tell him to give me his receipt from where he bought it from and now they are barely believing my story and said send it in and they will see with the info i send them with it.. so moultrie customer service on fixing their crappy stuff sucks.

a friend of mine was asking me this question. so i decided to post it. i have never had a problem using flash cameras. doesn't seem to bother the deer. i did have a camera with a red light that told you it was on. i would put tape over it. the only cameras i had problems with was the wildgame innovations, timber views. the software and the download to view pictures are not Vista (windows) compatible. found this out after I had 400 pics from georgia to look at, and couldn't.

i dont send anything until i get a person on the phone.. im sending my cam in tomorrow.. hopefully they will send it back.. seriously moultrie sells cheaply made cameras that "look good" but if you search.. the boards and electronics are horrible and everyone has problems with them.. they dont last more then 2 years without a problem if your lucky.
