Buying a new Hog Rifle - Opinions on Marlin 45-70 and others

marlin 3030.. Like i said for hogs i only use a 12 guage and shoot them at the MOST 20 yards. I just walk up to em.. But i mean if your trying to pick em out from far away.. id use a 3030.. marlin in walmart its like 360.

I have a 450 and it has stopped everything that i have shot with it. But it kicks like heck and i have two recoil pads on it. My favorite for hogs is either a 30-30 or 12 ga slug. But you have to shoot what you are happy with. But IMO the best weapon is dogs and a knife

Keep an eye on the pawn shops for a 30-30. For some reason I see them alot for around $300 or so.

45-70 and 450 ammo is like $2.00 a round now isn't it??
