We can grab the mosin with the bayonet if I need a little more for some of the pissed off hogs. 😆
I've killed hogs that have small bullet hole or buckshot wounds from someone else.

A good 12 ga. with different bbls as needed for whatever you hunt is a great all round firearm. The 45-70 can get a little recoil shy with but are fun to shoot.

I RIDE THE RANCH 2 TIMES A WEEK, AND SHOOT NUISANCE HOGS, 4-5 HOGS A WEEK. ALL I SHOOT IS A 22 LR, SHOOT THEM IN THE SHOULDER AND DROP EVERYONE.....

Have only shot about 6 hogs in my life until Memorial Day weekend this year, but all but one were with a .22mag, and they didn't go anywhere at 60 yards. The one I shot with a 270 didn't go anywhere either, but it ruined a lot more meat, and I shot them all right behind the ear to break their necks. Gunboy's been with me, and he's seen the results of the last 2 anyways.
