Don't expect it to make two holes. If you shoot with that in mind you should be just fine.

What would make two holes? Or two through the neck or head?

I meant it most likely wont exit. The core lokt is a bit soft for. 270 velocities, I've shot alot of hogs with them that didn't leave much or any blood. However, an exit wound isn't necessary to kill game with a well placed shot.

Agreed 100%. I was also thinking of picking up a box of the Barnes TSX. They have 130, 140, and 150 grain available for that round and I'd venture to say its an improvement over the Core-Lokt's.

Try 110's if they offer them. Personally, I load the 130 Nosler Partition in my. 270's. I've seen alot of game taken with them and everyone recovered has shown text book expansion/weight retention.
