Why not a Lever gun in .30-30? You can easily find a Winchester 94 in .30-30 for $275-400 that will last you forever and is a great FL hunting gun...

I have looked into them but they're not cheap enough to justify the purchase when I can have a 30-06 I can use in other places as well.
