A lot of poaching deer and there may be a lucky person kill a basket rack 8 a year. Everything else killed are pretty much spikes and button bucks from what I saw the couple years I hunted there.
That's funny, I kill a lot of forked horn bucks every yr since I joined, no spikes. No one in my hunting crew killed a spike all yr but we let several small forked horn bucks go thinking they were spikes.
Like every other clubs, hunters who know the land and crossings kill 90 percent of the bucks down there. Fire hunting and shooting spikes doesn't happen as much as it does in other local clubs, hence the large deer population. Believe me after hunting in other local clubs it is the best managed of the dog clubs. The problem in the last few yrs has been the doe harvesting. We use to ride around and see 20 plus deer every afternoon and now we are lucky to see half that.
