Desperately looking for a club/lease within 2 1/2 hours of Tampa. Turkey and Deer prefered (I've never hog hunted and would love to try it once or twice)
Willing to spend upwards of 1500 on land worth it. I know the deer aren't that great in Florida (or so I'm told) but anything is better than not hunting at all. Believe me, missing last season was sickening.
I'm strictly a bow hunter so I would prefer a bow only club, but I'm not going to be too terribly picky. If I knew more about the WMA's here, I'd go that route. Any info though would be great.
Get a copy of woods and water,all kinds of clubs in there full of game. Also been a few on Craigslist lately. It's that time to start looking.My club is 1,100.00 a year,there always taking members. It's a dog hunt club though,but we're still shooting hogs out of the roads every week we go.
Called every number on Woods and Water and they are all up in north Florida. Really looking for something I can drive to and hunt the same afternoon. I guess I was spoiled in Ga being 10 minutes away from the property. Checked with Plum Creek just to be told there was nothing available. Someone out there has to know of something.
I've never hunted with dogs. (Cept coons). Seems like it would be a lil loud for us in the stand.
