Where or from who did you learn to hunt?
I'm interested to know especially those of you who do not come from family with hunting traditions.
I have to say Florida.
No one really.
As a kid i would just walk the woods fallowing deer around never hunting them. Then bought myself a long bow and started hunting rabbits tree rats and doves. Then girls came along and i stopped hunting for 20 years.
So the left and i started hunting again by my self.
My dad never took me hunting even though I wanted to when I was a kid. Something about being held up at gunpoint in New York and not liking guns.
I had to learn (and am still learning) everything on my own. Best advice from me would be: Time in the woods and picking the brains of guys on these forums!
Nobody about 12 years ago I got it in my head to go hunting. I bought a cheap bow and there started this affliction. I read a little but add kicks my @ss I do better with videos. So I guess it'd be t.v. shows taught me how to hunt maybe thats why I haven't killed that much lol.
