Where would you hunt here?

The white lines are good drivable main roads. The faint line is a dim woods road that is drivable when its dry
The gray-ish spots are hardwoods. Lighter green is planted pines/briar thickets

**NOTE** I haven't stepped foot on this property in 7-8 years. I had a stand in this pictured area back then. This is the first time I have even looked at a map of the spot since then, still looks about the same. The pines were short back then. They should be 10 years old now
If all goes well, I will be a member of this lease again in a few days
You can save it, open it in paint and put a mark on the map where you would hunt, then re-post

A lot can change in 7-8 years. Aerial pics can be deceiving, so I'd definitely have to put my boots on the ground before deciding where to put a stand. I do like hunting off those dim roads though!

This google map is current(within last couple months). This lease borders a WMA I hunt, and I can see some of the clear cuts that were done as late as March/April are on this aerial

There's a natural travel area in here that I used to hunt and a bedding area. Just interesting to see how others would pursue this

Ill point it out in a couple days after a few folks get a chance to comment on it. Its a good learning exercise for folks to use todays technology to learn where to scout and hunt

Zoom in more look for oaks also look for cypress. See if you can find oaks next to cypress that's a place to start.

I marked it up and saved it but I can't figure out how to post it. I copied it but it won't let me paste it. I think you even showed me how to do this before Allen.
