Question.
Do you have holes drilled in bottom for the corn to fall out?
Way I did mine was this. Drill a hole in bottom ob bucket with a 1" hole saw bit. Insert a piece of 3/4" pvc in hole and glue on a "T" inside bucket to hold pvc in
Make the PVC long or short enough and raise the bucket where they can bump the PVC with their nose
HINT*
If you don't want the hogs to eat it, keep the bottom of the PVC at about 40-45" off the ground so deer only can bump the pvc.
As they bump it, corn will fall out thru the hole around the pvc
Here is the other type I make. 4'' PVC with french drain gutter guards. This was goat feed, soy bean, and corn mix
You can also take a length of pvc and ratchet strap it to a tree and fill it with corn, put a bucket over the top for a lid
