Wow, hopefully someone will post what happened.
unless dove hunting, who carries that much ammo? imo a whistle is not only cheaper but people will pay more attention to it. I stopped hunting and ran down the mtn to camp cuz my buds wife fired 3-shots because his job called, I was biting my tongue that day.
I came real close to being in that situation. I had a very close call with a mocassin in the Green Swamp on Sunday evening. I saw a total of four in less than an hour and a half. I went and bought a pair of snake boots today.
looked in the Ledger and did not find any info on a rescue in the swamp. will look again.
vonnick, i heard about the mocassins in the swamp from 2 fellow hunters. said they had to fight them hand to hand combat style twice.
Could have been a drug run!
