Yea upper hillsbourough is really hard to get into. They dont give out that many quota permits. Ive never hunted richloam at all so i dont know how bad it is. Good luck with that though. Keep us posted :toast
and Citrus, Potts, Flying Eagle, Jumper Creek, Halfmoon, Lake Panasofkee. All of those are just north of SR 50 and all of those are in either Citrus or Sumter Counties. Also down by green swamp you got Upper Hillsbough WMA.
Well, ya cant really count Upper Hillsborough. your just seeing the WMA list. Upper hills. is only open for a couple weeks and is closed now. Im more less venting. Im more interested in what CrOck said. Its out of Control. Something needs to be done about it and if it takes a couple years, So be it. as for me Hunting for the rest of the season, I like Green swamp. its a little closer. Im thinking of Flying over and talking some photos of the area to get a fresh look at the place. Google earth and map quest have out dated photos. if anyone wants to go, let me know.
green swamp is the "nike brand" of wmas when it comes to hunting.. it is too the most packed place around.
Talked to a friend of mine who hunted croom this past week. Said that EVERY morning hunt and EVERY afternoon hunt he got walked in on by someone. Happened every day the whole week. That is the reason I hunt a low pressure WMA and I have my own lease. I cannot deal with that
same here.. low pressure wma and private property.. hopefully next year. ill just be hunting lease, ga, and private land. thats my goal. it took me 2 years to get the private property.. and its taking me 3 years to save up for lease.. so it might all be worth it in the long run.
Dude your full of shit. Richloam is a dog hunting WMA. If you don't like it, go hunt in a still hunt area. I will fight any still hunting laws tooth and nail. They're tring that crap in my dog hunt club now, clubs getting full of cry baby still hunters. BTW,I hunt in there with dogs and so do a bunch of my friends,are you calling me and them idiots too?
