very safe in doing that in the time you have.as papa_j said cover the freezer that help a bunch.

We drove 33 hours from Craig, Co with three processed elk in coolers. Still frozen solid when I got back to Tampa

put a layer of cardboard over the meat and put some dry ice on top of that and it will stay colder than if plugged in.

Your hot dogs and push-up-pops should be fine.

Add some dry ice, or simply add a generator, turn it on and plug in for the trip...I doubt 6 hrs with frozen water bottles in it the thing will defrost at all, just don't open.
