There are less than respectful people out there. Last year when me and my dad were at our hunting area we found out somebody had cut down another man's tree stand just to put his up. It is public land so I'm not surprised. I personally have meet a couple people whom put up several stands and blinds each year and have told me to feel free to use any of them.
Yep, I decided to go ahead and put it up. If anyone finds it, their more than welcome to use it. I would much rather someone use it than fool with it.
I look at it this way. If it turns out bad, I wont do it agian !! There is another late model stand out there and I saw it during archery and it's still there and easily seen from the main road. Aint nobody messed his up.
