Put it to you this way, I have NEVER seen one work properly
I thought they were a new product,the latest,greatest. Maybe it's just a pos that changed it's name because they sucked so bad. They better figure out what the hell the problem is or they won't last very long. This is the first one I've owned and I really was glad I got one.But now I'm having second thoughts.
I have 2 of the IR-2 models I just bought at BPS 2 weeks ago, and I'm having doubts about the first one. It took 82 pics the first night (had deer, hogs, and coons under the feeder or on it almost every 2 hours). Then, I put the SD card in, and it took another 40 the next night. So, I go pull the SD card, took it to my truck, and pulled the pics off onto my laptop. Well, that was last Wednesday. Thursday, I saw several deer under the feeder when I was out there, so I went to check the cam, and there wasn't a single pic on the card. I don't know WTF happened. Now, I'm concerned, cus I just put one up on my lease this weekend, and I'm not gonna be going back for a while. Lucky for me, PCBFish is right up there, and he's gonna check on it for me. If it fails, I'm gonna break out the receipt and take em both back to BPS.
I never heard back from wildlife inovations today but tractor supply did give me another trail cam. At the register I noticed the package had been opened and retaped. The girl said some youg guy bought it then came right back in and changed his mind. I should have listened to myself,after driving ten miles to put it out this pos didn't work either. I did notice there were some screws missing like the dude did something to it. So I drove back and they gave me another,I told them if this one screws with me I want my money back. I'm ready to put the word out on them if they don't contact me tommorow. I'll go on every hunting website I can find and tell everyone not to buy them.
After 2 hours of just trying to get mine to come on, I got it facing my squirrel feeder. Ill check it in the morning to see what I got.
