Just a heads up for anyone who didn't have to renew their license recently that you have to get the new $5 deer tag before heading to the woods. Somehow I got my license all screwed up and it lasts through the season and I just remembered the tag myself. I'd hate to get a ticket for not getting a $5 tag.

I got the Sportsman Gold license this year and it includes the permit.

I've got the Military Gold Sportsman license. It includes the tag, so no worries on my end.

I was wondering when they were going to get around to issuing tags. like alot of other states.

Anything worth doing is worth overdoing

I hope never, it is a pain...in TX you are allowed 2-3-4 deer a year and the tags are on your license. If they do it here there will be limits and penalties.
