Is it True?? .223 are Illegal to Hunt Deer With??

223 is ok the only thing that is not on public land is any rimfire cartridge for deer. i dont know about private land.

not entirely true for all wma's ( remember this is fla, every wma has different F'n rules) homossasa for example is rimfire only for small game which includes hogs, not so small imo, except Crocks. in N.Y. bullets for hunting deer had to be larger than 22 cal.

thats what i just said above! for deer i didnt say anything about small game. no rimfire allowed for deer on any public land.

sorry, the vines ripped my eyeglasses outa their case today and lost, damm vines can pick your pockets. last 3 trips I lost 2-pocket knives and eye glasses, thats why I try to tie everything down.

you can use .223 you cannot use FMJ ammo.
