How do you get your animal out?

+1 on the game cart. add on extra wide wheelbarrow wheels and it goes on rough terrain/sand much better. hope to actualy use mine on a dead animal SOMEDAY instead of just hauling corn/stands and such. theft is a MAJOR issue on wma's and even on private land. guess I've been lucky, only thing I lost was a hunting chair I hid on a wma, took them less than 30 minutes to steal it. gotta either be real stupid or brave to steal from guys carrying guns.

Many laborious ways.

When younger i have carried a buck on my shoulder about a mile. I was begging for help but there was no one around and that was easier than dragging. I have dragged deer and hogs out. The best way is a game cart.

KC non-quota wma's are usually crowded, so your best bet would be to apply for the quota wmas and cross your fingers that you get drawn. Just a heads up, not sure what conditions you are used to people wise.
