I suggest a cart you can balance the load on carting a mile is enough without man handling your load. When i get them on the cart balanced. I can step in it and walk: It will stay at my waist without have to lift it constantly.

if its to far dont shoot lol my old man wont shoot anything but a big buck because he aint gonna drag anything else out

then whats the point of hunting in a spot that is too far? sounds counter productive. the cart is the optimum way to go. i have a game drag that is built in to my safety harness. there is no way i will ever try to drag one out with that after helping my buddy drag one out in indiana last year. what a PIA. once we got it over the creek to where we could get a 4 wheeler or tractor to it, we stopped. in floridas flat lands the cart is king.
