I love that show. A little hyped up for the media but still a good show. I also really like Swamp People that they had on a few months back.
I missed last night(I do have it on DVR). Last weeks show sorta made me laugh. They had the biggest box full of ragtime catch dogs I've ever seen. A greatDane and some fuzzy mutt looking thing. They turn them loose on a hog they can see in a field, and they can't catch it. "The hog gave them the slip"...Come on, they can't catch one in a friggin pasture???
I swear to God, if you knew nothing of hogs whatsoever and watched that show, you would think they are blood thirsty savage 800# beasts.
Last weeks show did have them catching them behind a church in South Tampa. I had no idea they were any hogs in there.
"The hogs are ramming the fence of the playground trying to get at the children..." LOL
I agree and laughed at how the hogs are portrayed. They overdramatize the danger to the max although it is TV so it is to be expected. It's pretty funny though because I bet the city folk like it. There were several times I saw that a group of shooters (in that pasture for example) could have taken out the entire pack of hogs and yet they struggle to catch one with dog(s). In Hawaii, I would have setup a lighted area with thermal imaging and took a bow or small firearm and knocked out several at a time. Those 2 guys in Panama City looked like newbies when it came to catching hogs too. One of them almost stuck his hand in that hogs mouth lol
