I've been out 3 times to the glades this week and not sure what is going on. I've found a few fresh rubs this week but the does aren't being chased at all as far as I can see. The rub line I'm hunting had been hit again since Sunday. I tried the can and some tending grunts but nothing even acted like they heard it. Even blasted some Doe Estrus Buck Bomb when I'd hear something in the brush but nothing. There have only been 3 bucks reported at the check station I go to and by the pics they aren't rutting at all. I thought the rut was in August down here but don't see it. Could it be that it's late or do y'all think it's over already? :wacko
No cam. Rubs were definitely hit again in the last few days. This line is only 100 yds from the main trail. If I put up a cam it would be gone in a week right there. When I'm in my climber I can see the trail plain as day.
I'm hunting Corn Dance and I hardly ever see anyone there. 4 trucks is the most I've seen there this season and 2 of those have camps back there. Most people don't go cause it's too wet to walk.
