After seeing this track for five days in a row, he finally made a mistake. Up till now he had went back and forth and we could never tell where he went last, but today he had walked down Lynn RD for a mile before going straight in toward SR40 and PINE Tree RD. We lined up Pine Tree and put a couple on 40 just in case he tried to cross the highway.
I pulled Molly out and she began trailing like it just crossed the road, so i dumped the box and sat back listening to the music. Man the where really trailing good. When they got close to the dead in road they jumped. They where coming strait back. i was telling my wife Michele to get ready. They turned 40 yards from us and now heading to Pine Tree. I heard Slingshot come over the CB saying he was heading back to the dead end rd.
well this went on for 3 big loops, but the dogs where still hammering him like they where sight chasing. It was really strange I could see the dogs go by but never seen the deer. the dogs came right threw a wide opening right in front of me, still don't know how i didn't see him.
Anyway on the 5th loop I decided to walk in 40 yards off the rd. I could bearly hear the dogs when I heard some thing right behind me, I thought it was Michele when i turned I could see him right there 10 yards away, he didn't get a chance to make another loop. It took about 5 min for the dogs to get there but I think they where happy they didn't have to make that trip again, they have been running for 4 strait hours.
