After cleaning your game, How many of you take it to a Butcher to finish the job ? and about how much does it cost to have a Butcher process a 150 pound Hog or Deer ? And the closest one to I-75 and Fletcher ?

I have always done my own since I was old enough to hold a knife. However, this year I got really lazy. Actually its more of just being busy and being pressed for time to do it myself.
I have taken all my animals this season to this guy in land o lakes (54 & 41 intersection) that all my friends use. He charges $40 for whatever you want done. He's got a checklist of how you want it processed and does a good job. Matter of fact I have 2 hogs there to pick up today. In the slower times of the year he will have it done same day, but during season it is a 2-day turn around
When I go Ill grab his flier and post it here for you to see.
does he skin it also, if you get it to him quickly. I know if its hot out you should skin it asap. and that includes wrapping? good price.
No he does not do any skinning or gutting. You have to do that and bring it in a cooler
Sounds good to me. Thanks for the info. I'll be looking for that flyer. Hours of operation and ph.#
I can clean and quarter. I get confused on whats the bacon and sausage. I just want it packed and cut so I can just throw it in the freezer.
