Ok so Ive been hunting an area since my qouta in Green Swamp, but I havent hunted it in the last 2 weeks...The reason: I go to climb my usual tree and I get up in it and start looking around and notice to my right a tree about 20 feet from mine with a piss jug hanging from a limb and climber marks on it, so apparently someone was hunting there also..The area is covered in rubs and fresh ones at that and I have seen many does come in range of my stand but no bucks although I know there is some small ones and atleast a 6 point around...so with the season winding down I need some advice on whether I should continue hunting this area, I am currently not hunting the area cuz I dont know if any bucks have been shot and I dont want to waste my time.The current area has bucks also but it borders richloam so would it be better to just see if the dogs can push stuff my way....thanks.

Im no expert but would probabley stick to the old spot. But last year, I still hunted Richloam and Deer got pushed my way every day I hunted. If you decide to hunt close to the Richloam side, At least you wont have to worry about them driving through the woods right up on you to cut thier dogs off.
yea the old spot isnt near richloam at all but I just know there is a very nice buck somewhere near there, Im gonna check it out again this weekend probably...
If you are seeing DOES and BUCK SIGN....stay there and hunt it. GS is in pre-rut stage now and the rut should fire off within the next 2 weeks. End of season there is the rut
