All I have to say is Good luck with your shoulder !!! :no :no :no aside from borsighting it. Shoot it at 50 yards first. get it zeroed there then move to 100. If they borsight it with a lazer, the windage will be right but it will still shoot high so if you cant find the bullet at 50 YDS, aim at bottom of target to findout how high you are. Worst case, Start and zero at 25 YDS.
if it is a bolt action, i would rather bore sight it myself, pull the bolt and line up barrel to target at 25 yds. don't like the laser bore sighters, haven't had a rifle done yet that was even close.
The cheap bore sighter with the grid in it works MUCHHHHH better than the laser one
bring your own large piece of cardboard to the range for sighting in so you start with no holes already in your target board. and you may want to spend a few extra bucks for some of those hi viz targets, that make it much easier to see where your shots are going, unless you have a spotting scope/good binocs or high powered scope.
if you have a buddy and a spotting scope, your buddy could watch the vapor trail and tell you exactly where you are hitting. a spotting scope just out of focus will let you see the bullets vapor trail.
