When charging a deep cycle battery, do you remove the vent caps or leave them in...or does it really matter?

Not sure if it matters but I have never removed them and mine charge just fine.

I agree with both of these guys. On my cart I only pull them when refilling. Never touch them on the boat.

i got one on my camper.. if i let it charge too long they will sweat.. but otherwise i never take them off unless filling.
