Thats pretty much it. Most of them don't have a trigger. It releases from the back pressure you put on it

I hate to have to buy one just to try but it looks like I may have too unless I can find one person that has used a tension release.Thanks guys for the help!

It sux cause if I want to shoot well enough to hunt I need to have a release I can use and shoot well with if not I will pass on the bow hunting.
