I am getting back to be able to shoot a bow again and use my fingers right now but I do not have a smooth release because of hand problems.What I have tried are standard releases using finger and thumb but I have no control with finger or thumb so these types are out.What I need is info from anyone that uses a back tension release!I have gone to several shops and all I have gotten is they know of someone or they and show me a release through the package because they dont have one open.They said if I buy it we can open the package but wtf I need to know if I could use one......I am not a release user so I need info please!

never heard of a back tension release. however I can recomend the trigger releases that have a wrist strap, that helps you pull and hold the string more with your wrist and arm than your fingers. fingers just work the trigger.
can not use the regular release have tried those that is why I need info on tension releases but thanks!
I have heard mixed emotions about them. I have never used one. A lot of people say they are not good for hunting situations, though. More for target applications
