I would rather use a homemade target cheaper and better!

Carbon arrows don't react well to compressed cardboard. Not enough friction to stop the arrow unless you tighten the straps a lot, and then it's a solid impact on target.
That's what I'm talking about. I thought the pro shop guy was gonna go ballistic when I suggested layered cardboard. I guess it would be okay if you have something behind the cardboard to slow the arrow "gently" (some type of layered foam), then you wouldn't have to compress the cardboard so much to stop the arrows.
Layered cardboard works great and will stop ant arrow plus 4 sheets of ethafoam in front.
soak in water 2 full bundles 20 inches thick of newspaper together and see what that will stop.May not stop the 300!
