I just bought a Reinhart Rinoblock. It works very well for FP's and BH's a little expensive $130 at gander but it has a replacable center should last a long time I shoot a 185lb crossbow and arrows pull fairly easy.

I shoot the small block target this year but I think I'm getting a deer target next year.

Any layered type target is your best bet. I picked up a bag target this summer and have just about it shot it out in 2 months

Replacement bags on most of that style target are pretty affordable and then you have a practically new target again. Or if you have horses or friends that do...get some old feed sacks and rebag it. :archer

I think you can even use the bags feed corn comes in for a target. The feed corn for livestock at the local feed store comes in a 50# all white plastic/burlap sack. Just keep replacing the sack every so often.

I would rather use a homemade target cheaper and better!
