So, nacho, what do you think caused this? I'm leaning towards an arrow that was too short for the bow.

no it was a split in the carbon fiber.. when you shoot an arrow is has so much power it split and broke and went through his hand.. seen a ton of these type of pics.

Dont shoot groups. shoot targets. Its rare that will happen.. but carbon fiber is sharp as hell and cracks in a hair line and when you shoot that "can" happen. the arrows i buy are like 70 bucks for a dozen.. i cant afford to shoot groups any more.
