I blew up my old PSE by shooting a carbon arrow that I didn't know was damaged. When I shot the arrow split in half causing the bow to dry fire sounded like a rifle shot. I was lucky and didn't get hurt except for a cut behind my ear where the cable hit me. I found half the arrow by the target and the other half bout 30 yds to my left I bet the same thing happened to this guy except the other half went threw his hand.
SOB! Do they sell chain male gloves for archery? How bout Kevlar sleeve? Anything? I can't even imagine pickin a bow back up after that. Actually looks like the dude's arrow was too short too. Like he pulled it back past the rest and it shattered on the limb on the way thru his hand.
and, man! I just ate. Need to put a warning label on these pics...erp...uurrp...
I had an arrow snap about 2 inches from the vanes while taking a shot on a hog. Now I replace my arows every year. The arrow slaped the hog on it's side and it ran off. Lucky I didn't get hurt!
ouch is right! I had a vane come off once and pierce my finger, thought that hurt, but that poor sob.
