I put the guns away a while ago. And I haven't put my BM down since I got it. 3x a week in the afternoons, and 3-4 hours Sat and Sunday. This past Sunday I was only into it for like 20 mins when I hit the double. I'll shoot prob 3-4 times a week now till August, and then I'll start shooting every night.

why dont you just practice with aluminum arrows then? im still waiting for the arrows with the carosine on the tip like in the movie gladiator to come out...that way i wont have to track to far i can just look for the smoke signal!

why practice with an arrow you are not going to hunt with? Thats like saying practice shooting a 30.06 but hunt with your .243.

So, nacho, what do you think caused this? I'm leaning towards an arrow that was too short for the bow.

They just get weak after being shot hundreds of times. And all it takes is one little nick and SNAP! I put a shot on a hog at about 8 yards and the arrow broke about two inches in front of the vanes. The rest of the arrow slapped the hog in the side. He screamed like hell and ran off. I only found the front half of the arrow. Here is the pic of the arrow (it was about two inch's longer then my new arrows) I'd say the same thing happened to this guy but the front of his arrow snapped.
