cool, that boy of yours is a good shot. just an observation. might want to turn his poundage down alittle bit. lot of movement on his draw. should be able to hold his bow straight out and draw straight back.

Agree. We lowered it down right to 35 pound, but still a little bit to much for him. He is making a lot of effort as I told him he needs to stay legal poundage. He is almost there. Was considering a crossbow but I get "hammered" by other hunters every time I bring the topic (...especially if legal during archery).

cool. how long has he been shooting?? i usually go and shoot 3-d with my son when they have the 3-d ahoots up at lake park. good practice. we also shoot here at my house. we can get 30 yds shots along side the house from the front yard into the back. early on Sunday mornings will have my son stand lookout and will shoot from the neighbors front yard across the street into my back yard. lol

would also let him know, to go for the higher percentage body shot on a turkey with a bow. don't really have to go for the neck shot. nice broadheads will go right through them feathers. better than turkey load will.
