My grandaughter is 5 and wants to learn how to shoot a bow. I know nothing about them, where do I start? and how do you determine left or right handed. I believe she is left eye dominant, or at least that is how she shoots her bb gun but need help
Thanks
I started my 6yr old grandson off with a Golden Eagle Bravo Scout Draw Len: 20''-22'' / Draw Wt: 17-22 I don't now the let off s/b about 65% also not for sure if it comes in a left hand model.
Diamond Nuclear Ice? Comes with pink camo limbs. Not too expensive, and very adjustable. Not sure if it's avail in lefty or not. Gotta find out though, cus my daughter is starting to catch the archery bug.
I got my twins one of those cheap wal-mart compound bows for kids when they were 5. They had a blast shooting with me. I wouldn't spend a bunch of money on archery equipment till she gets older.Right now she just wants to have fun slinging arrows. Now my boys are 7 and deadly with a red ryder. I'm gonna move them up two a youth rifle .243 this year and a little better bow.
When I was a young kid, my old man just got me a cheap-o long bow to learn the basics and to gig frogs or whatever. I had a blast, and when I busted an arrow it wasn't a big deal cause it didn't cost $20-40.
