thank you for the polite response treefarmer. and being a grad of paris island, (not to knock FT Benning) that probably produced some of the best shooters in the country, I think you should be teaching us. but anyone can learn from another if an open mind is kept.
+2 with Nacho, the weather has more to do with it then the wind at 100 yrds, what powder are you using loose or pellets how much powder a 240 gr bullet is a slege hammer at 100 yrds, but powder , and temp , solid rest or off hand
pandaxmx, the powder was loose American Pioneer powder, the amount was 110grs by volume, the rifle was shot from a shooting bench (solid rest) and the temperature was in the mid 60's. I'm still a little bit leary of this rifle and the wind issue. Did not have time today to shoot again but there was very little wind. If it shoots to the point of aim I'll really watch the cross winds on the 100yd shots. If it shoots where it did yesterday, I'll make the proper adjustments on the 3x9 Redfield.
