After shooting my CVA for the first few times I can definately see the need for breech plug grease and got some with a cleaning kit.
Is there something I might already have in my garage that will work as well ?
If I save money I can buy more sabots !

I believe a lithium based grease will work, I'm currently using tetra brand, a small tube will go a long way.anything is better than nothing. you don't wanna put it in dry and shoot it.

If you have any anti-seize like you would use for head bolts, that should work fine. Permatex, Loc-Tite and several other brands make it and you can pick some up at your local car parts store if you don't have any. Not sure if it's any cheaper than the stuff in the cleaning kits.

any hi temp anti seize will work as oyster said, go to aotozone and get some or you can use choke greese for shotgun chokes also. and you can use teflon tape as well.
