So I just ordered my t/c Omega, scope mounts, and Nikon Omega scope. I can't wait to get to the range and sight it in!

Have a thompson encore 30.06 ...favorite deer rifle....also have Omega .50 smokepole.....both very good guns and about the only thing I hunt with anymore....great choice....

Thanks guys. I think I made a good choice also and I went ahead and got the thumbhole stock on it. I really think I am going to be much steadier with it.

I have the same rifle,Omega with stainless fluted barrel,black composite stock,and thumb hole. I put a Bushnell trophy scope on mine and love it. I've killed about 5 or 6 deer with it the last 5 years.
