My reloading buddy told me the same thing about powder not burning. Said I'll be just fine shooting 100 grn. Now my shoulder will last longer and I'll save money on powder. Seems I shoot worse with 150 too..

no need to go to 150 if you arnt shootin 200 yards. my gun loves a 90gr. load of blackhorn 209 no need to go higher. 90% of my shots are same as luvs they are 50 or less so i zero at 50. my setup with 300gr xtp and 90gr. charge i dont even notice any recoil.
Just got done shootin',my bp was dead on at 50 and 100 yards with 100 grn. Also shot a box of 30-30 win had it dead on at 50 then shot a lever rev and was about 5-6" hi. Worked out good,hsad the elevation maxed out had to lower it a bit. Hit dead on at 50maybe a bit hi and dancing around the bulls eye at 100. My kid wil have no excuses.
