hey man i sent you a pm. also for just startin out pellets are ok but i really dislike everything about them, but thats me tons of people love them. me personally i like shootin loose powder, there is a few out there to choose from and with loose you can fine tune your load to suit your gun, no two guns are the same very alike but not the same, if you go with 777 pellets buy the primers for 777 pellets they arnt as hot as other primers so the 777 will burn a little cleaner and you dont get a crud ring form them as bad if you shot a hot primer, the crud ring will be near the bottom of the barrel and can be eliminated for the most part if you spit patch between shots. also i have not had good luck or atleast to my satisfaction with packaged bullets and sabot combo's. my gun likes a .45cal .452 300gr. hornady xtp. in a harvester crush rib sabot. shoots under 2 inches all day long (see my lower posts) but if you want a qick load to try in your gun try 2 pellets of 777 (100 grains) and get some hornady fpb they are a full bore bullet they do not use a sabot they sell them in packs at most shops and walmart. here's a link to them on the hornady page.
