Maintaining the "new look"

The Optimas have a stainless barrel. I can't see what you are talking about in the picture.

I have the same gun.
After shooting it I take it all apart, clean with TC Muzzle Loader Cleaner #13 and pressure hose in the back yard. Use 90% Isopropyl Alcohol to dry out the water. Lube with Break Free CLP, inside and out.....

Worried about oil in the bore? (before you load and shoot) Patch the bore with alcohol or xylene ..... then patch it dry.

to remove oil from a clean mzl, run a bore snake or couple of patches, then pop a primer cap or 2 and the bbl will be dry/clear and fouled so you don't get that clean bbl 1st shot.
