I have a cva wolf which is similar and it will suffice out to 100 yds with a decent scope. I shoot 2 777 pellets and 250 grain hornady or t/c shockwaves in it. It's a nice gun.
I have an Optima and am having good luck with two pellets of Triple 777 and Thompson Center 250 gr Shockwaves with the black sabots and yellow tips, the cheapies at Walmart. Running one pre lubed Thompson Center patch thru follwed by two dry patches after every shot. Seems to work for me. Good Luck.

I own a CVA Optima pro, They recommend Powerbelts, they have shot well for me have shot other brands to and have done well. just always hunt with Powerbelts. and pyrodex pellets. havent had any problems yet.
