Halfmoon Lake Fishing Report

Just fished Halfmoon Lake yesterday afternoon on til about 9pm. Used live shiners and minnows. Had a few little bass 2lbs, caught bout 8 mudfish, one catfish, and a uncountable number of spotted gar. Bream werent really biting to good on minnows but the gar sure were. Half of the shiners were dead in a few hours but the mudfish ate them. There are more gators there then the last time I was there, 4 were right at the boat ramp when we pulled up, most were 4-7 foot. Saw one biggin that was around 9 foot but the kept to themselves. Might try wildcat lake and see how its doing nowadays.
